Previously, McKenzie was the Treatment Director at Latitudes specializing in LGBTQ+ care for individuals with co-occurring disorders, Clinical Director at Beauterre Recovery Institute, and substance use counselor. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, McKenzie is passionate about working with individuals in the queer community and advocating for other marginalized communities who face barriers to accessing care.
