Dr. Tim Walsh (M.A., L.P.; DPA) currently serves as the Executive Director for EOSIS at the Beauterre Recovery Institute in Owatonna, Minnesota. He has 30 years of experience as an executive leader and administrator in the fields of substance use disorder and mental health treatment, human services and corrections. He has been licensed as a psychologist since 1998. His prior roles include: Chief Executive Officer at NorthStar Regional, Senior Vice President for Long-term Recovery and Mental Health Services at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge, Director of Health and Human Services in Scott County, Director of Juvenile Services for the Minnesota Department of Corrections, and Juvenile Justice Services Director for Dakota County Community Corrections. He completed his doctorate in public administration at Hamline University in 2012. He received his Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology from St. Thomas University in 1993. Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in Social Sciences/Psychology and Biblical Studies from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul. Tim has also contributed to Academia as an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Northwestern and as an Adjunct Professor in the Sociology Department at Hamline University.
